wonderful reflections :)
Yes, conver...Dear Lubna,

wonderful reflections :)

Yes, convert covering into uncovering by asking questions and explorations rather than simply blasting the answers (or the contents).

In other words, that is why learning outcomes are so unattractive to learners, because it is telling you what you should learn. Instead, convert your learning outcomes and curriculum to questions and guided exploration.

In other other words, it is a bit like a treasure hunt or a map to the galaxy. You have the map, but now you need to get there doing (or thinking) it yourself.

Yes, his lecture is wonderful, and that is why we shared it with the rest of the world, or whoever actually watches it :)

Thanks again and have a great day!

Warm Regards,

ZaidZaidLearnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17621097605357272748noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3421717067893938118.post-20231057045668910972010-06-15T14:47:09.193+08:002010-06-15T14:47:09.193+08:00Uncovering is better than covering got me to think...Uncovering is better than covering got me to think of being a kid.. When everything was a mystery it was much more pleasant to learn :) It was interesting, engaging and it stuck!
I also appreciate that he mentioned "if something is important say it more than once" I am a big fan of incorporating both the behaviorism theory and the cognitive theory for learning.. Really great lecture :DLubnanoreply@blogger.com
